It's clear as day. I know it'd be nicer to think that he crossed mighty rivers and shit and is dripping wet sitting at the Old Point Bar drinking an Abita and furiously scribbling new pages of his novel, but life isn't like that.Rayhttp://www.moronosphere.com/rayinneworleansnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-535437108984117000.post-88610552993714498502010-06-15T19:47:37.731-05:002010-06-15T19:47:37.731-05:00great thanks everyone - good to know Goodman maybe...great thanks everyone - good to know Goodman maybe just be asleep in his car until 2011 :0Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-535437108984117000.post-18156901865328822232010-06-15T18:15:45.002-05:002010-06-15T18:15:45.002-05:00OK, then!... Goodman signing on for 20 episodes is...OK, then!... Goodman signing on for 20 episodes is (good) news to me. I figured if they hadn't resolved it by the finale we could watch the news reports when they start filming Season 2 to see if he's on the set. But maybe they won't make us wait to find out.

fyi, St. Joseph's Night is always the night of March 19. You missed Uptown Super Sunday, which was scheduled during the daytime on the following Sunday but, as you said, got pushed back a week due to rain. This is nothing compared to Downtown Super Sunday, which is postponed so habitually that one wonders if they're purposefully trying to keep people away.mattsakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15000181221828948428noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-535437108984117000.post-54667638371968753862010-06-15T17:46:26.190-05:002010-06-15T17:46:26.190-05:00Well, Goodman's signed on for 20 episodes -- l...Well, Goodman's signed on for 20 episodes -- let's hope the remainder aren't flashbacks. As for Chief Albert Lambreaux, Simon may have been planting a seed when he showed the chief nearly beating a kid to death with a pipe. Does not bode well for St. Joseph's Night (which I missed this year because they postponed the parade for a week due to weather and I had to fly out -- grrr).
The best musical joke in the episode was Davis being unable to hear knocking because he was listening to "I Hear You Knocking." For Simon's usually highbrow, catch-up-with-me-or-you-lose aesthetic, it was nice, dumb, laugh-out-loud moment.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17499739917214082656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-535437108984117000.post-55684580683969398782010-06-15T17:32:35.682-05:002010-06-15T17:32:35.682-05:00Season 1 finale is this week and then Season 2 is ...Season 1 finale is this week and then Season 2 is coming in 2011. The very suggestion of him moving away would probably provoke one of his classic tirades.

He was in Florida handling the estate of a deceased family member when he died.
